Tammy Amodeo September 5, 1960 - March 6, 2025

With bitter sweetness we announce the death of Tammy Rae Amodeo. She was released from this world into the everlasting presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus, on March 6, 2025.

She is survived by her husband Morley, and son Nikolas (Sarah) and 4 amazing grandchildren, Rowan, Noah, Willem and Lewis. She is also survived by her siblings Terry Roussin, Jo-Anne (Jim) Minor, Laurel (Don) Adams, Tony (Miriam) Cain, and Cheryl Cain, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces.  She is predeceased by her parents, Roy and Sig Cain, 2 brothers, Ross Bryan (1962) and Mickey (2018).

Tammy loved the Lord. Her faith and relationship with Jesus was central to her life.  She was a person of constant prayer and care for others.  She had many passages of Scripture memorized.  She loved singing and her home was often filled with music.

Tammy was born in Dryden, Ontario on September 5, 1960 to Roy and Signild Cain of Eagle River, Ontario. She was the 6th of their 8 children. She grew up in Eagle River, Ontario and attended Eagle River Public School and Dryden High School.  Eagle River always held a special place in her heart.

Tammy met Morley while she was in high school.  They married in 1982 and started a family in 1987.  They made their home in Dryden and enjoyed over 40 years of life and love together.  Tammy loved being a wife, mother, aunt and homemaker.  Later in life she opened her home and heart to many children and families in Dryden through her work as a childcare provider.  Her greatest pride and joy were her four grandchildren.

She will be remembered by family and friends for her glowing smile, genuine and enthusiastic faith, her love of children, and generous hospitality.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
