May 20, 1941 – January 15, 2019

It is with great sadness the family of Stanley Landon announce his passing on January 15, 2019.

He was predeceased by his parents George Landon and Maggie Pitchenese, his brothers; Edward and Steven Landon, his sisters; Eva, Nora, Marie and May Landon and Maryann Perrault, mother to Derek Perrault and Maria Leutschaft and grandmother to Floyd Perrault. .

He leaves to mourn and will be missed by son Derek Perrault, BC and grandson Floyd Perrault, daughter Desirre Lynn Perrault aka Maria Helen Leutschaft, Ohio, son Wesley Robinson, Ohio, daughter Angela Verna Leutschaft Berle, great-granddaughter Jessie Leutschaft, Shoal Lake, son Timothy Landon, Dryden, grandchildren Clareasa, Jacob and Canyon Landon, best friend Donna Landon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Most of Stanley’s early life was spent across Wabigoon River on his parents trap line. Stanley enjoyed his Christian walk with Christ. In September 1985, he met Donna and they were married on February 14, 1992. Stanley adopted Timothy at age 9 and raised Donna’s 3 daughters; Patty (Kevin) Hatfield, Janette Brannan and Angelina Brannan. They spent summers hunting, fishing, going to bible camp, blueberry picking and every Thursday was Awana night and weekends were spent with extra friends over. The fall fair was a big event and then to Winnipeg to shop for school stuff. Winter evenings Stanley enjoyed hosting Bible studies in his basement. Donna and Stanley separated due to his health problems but he has always been involved with Donna and family.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Toews officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.
