Leonard Cyril LeDoux passed away on July 29, 2024, at his home. He was born in Camperville, Manitoba on June 22, 1949, to Maggie and George LeDoux. He was predeceased by his mother, Maggie LeDoux, father George LeDoux, brothers Mervin LeDoux and Elvis LeDoux, and grandson Darrell Kingbird Jr. He is survived by siblings Paul LeDoux and Donna LeDoux. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Michelle LeDoux, Rochelle LeDoux Svihel (Calvin), Megan Rushak (Jesse), as well as his grandchildren Loren LeDoux, Danielle Kingbird, Lucy Kingbird, Darren Kingbird, Dillon Kingbird, Elliana Svihel, and Callee Svihel. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Known as Chuck, Leonard moved from Camperville to Dryden in his early teens to pursue a lifelong career as a logger, which he loved. His hobbies included a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was a great provider from the land, a skill he learned as a child. In his early years, he loved traveling to Las Vegas and enjoyed horse racing and casinos.
Leonard was a man of many talents, from carpentry to baking and he took pride in tinkering with items most people thought were garbage. Though he was a man of few words, those he spoke were genuine, meaningful, and educational. He loved spending time with his children and adored his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
