Kevin Peterson passed away March 15, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Health Science Centre at the age of 62.
Kevin was born in Fort Frances Ontario on June 29, 1962 to Charlene and Hilding Peterson.
Kevin loved anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed camping, walks with his grandson in the “deep dark bushes” and 4-wheeler “rips”. He also loved to hang out in the garage with whom ever showed up. He always had a joke or story to tell. He lived life to the fullest.
Kevin worked at the Dryden paper mill until he lost his job due to downsizing. He then got his AZ license and drove chip truck until his retirement. Once he retired, he spent time with family and friends, but his special moments were with his grandchildren. They made his eyes light up!
Kevin is survived by his wife Karen, his two children Domanique (Shane and Kenzie) and Trent (Amber and Lucas). He is also survived by his mother Charlene, sister Kerry (Ken, Kristina and Kenna). His stepmother Jane, mother and father-in-law Brenda and Gerry, brother in laws Peter and Jeff as well as many other family and friends.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the City of Dryden – Outdoor Recreation, 30 Van Horne Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2A7
