It is with heavy hearts, that we the family announce the passing of our Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa and friend, Harvey Frederick Kropelin on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021.
Harvey was born February 28th, 1939, in Fort Frances, Ontario to Fred and Emily Kropelin.
Harvey truly was a jack of all trades. When he retired, he took up wood working. He loved to fish and always made time to spend with his family.
He always had a witty story or joke to tell, be it his closest friends and family, or even someone he had just met. He loved to give everyone a good chuckle.
Harvey will be missed by a very dear friend, Jocelyne and her family.
Harvey will also be missed by his children; Laurie (Mark) Thompson, Anita (Gerry) Broere, Todd (Wendy) Kropelin, Tim (Kyla) Kropelin, Suzanne (Ken) Walske and Corrine (Doug) Lund, grandchildren; Nina (Christian) Stelmach, Jenna (Ed) Honshorst), Michael (Sarah) Broere, Matthew (Laura) Broere, Jeff (Nicole) Kropelin, Ashley, Kooper, and Bronson Kropelin, Chelsey Walske (Robbie Rea), Drew Walske, Scott (Alli) Lund and Christopher Lund, great grandchildren; Olivia and Noah Stelmach, Henry Honshorst, Case Broere, Spencer and Sophia Kropelin and Nathan Lund, brother Fred (Sharon) Kropelin as well as numerous other family members and extended family.
We extend our heartfelt Thank you to Dr. Yvon Gagnon and the staff from the Vermillion Bay Clinic, Dr. Shelley Zieroth and Dr. Sean Armstrong in Winnipeg for taking such good care of Dad over the years.

January 14, 2021 at 5:55 amMy deepest condolences to the whole family. Harvey gave me so many moments of laughter and learning. I was too young at the time to understand the learning side. But, reflecting back now he taught me so much. All the great memories will remain.
