She was born on September 17th, 1935 in Dryden, Ontario. She grew up in Amesdale and had fond memories of her time growing up there. She married Tom on May 1st, 1959 and raised their three daughters. They spent most of their time camping, fishing, hunting, gardening as they both shared such a love for the outdoors.
She loved spending time with her family and was so proud of them all. She also had a deep love for all of her pets
Her hobbies over the years were knitting, playing cards, scrapbooking and making the most beautiful flower arrangements from her gardens. Having a visit over a cup of coffee with her friends and family was what she enjoyed the most.

September 15, 2023 at 4:35 amI’m sad and sorry for us all to lose such a dear person in our lives, but especially for you and your family. What a blessing it was to have you nearby and involved in her life, and her in yours. I loved your mother as did so many others. She was the delightful young girl of her generation in Amesdale, and a delightful person and friend to so many throughout her life. Again, I’m sorry for our loss, and especially yours. I always wanted to have one more visit with her, but I suppose I will have to wait a while for that.
Sincerely,
Brian
