Elsie Szachury October 21, 1930 - April 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Elsie Szachury. Elsie passed away peacefully on April 11^th with family be her side.

She was born October 21, 1930 in Kipling, Saskatchewan. Moving to Dryden with her husband Steve and three children in 1958. Their fourth son, Kevin was then born in Dryden in 1966. Steve passed away March 29, 2013.

She will be missed by her children Gorden (Loraine) Szachury, Catherine Szachury, Joanne (Roland) Kirouac, and Kevin (Andrea) Szachury. She will also be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We are left with a legacy of fond memories that we can cherish forever. We will remember her for her love of blueberry picking, fishing trips, gardening, baking, trips to Texas, and her church. We will always remember the great visits with family and friends. Wherever they called home, Elsie made it a place where people were always welcome.

God saw her getting tired, so he wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered come with me. God took her to his loving home.
