Dale Froome November 5, 1948 - February 11, 2024

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dale Richard Froome following a hard fought battle with his family by his side.

Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Audrey, son Darren (Jana) granddaughter Janessa (Tyler) Krista (Logan) great granddaughters Lily and Jessa, his buddy Pepper and many friends.

Dale was known for his shiny truck. He enjoyed 13 years in Yuma, fishing, beating the women playing marbles and shooting pool. He will now be reunited with his pool buddies Stan and Doug. He was always willing to help family and friends fix “things”. A lot of good memories with the Sunset Camping Group in Kenora and Ignace and special friends Tom and Fern. Dale worked at the Dryden Mill for over 30 years, retiring as a pulp mill supervisor.

We would like to thank the doctors and all the staff at DRHC for their kindness and compassion while taking care of Dale and his family.

May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adult & Teen Challenge – Dryden, 34 King St. Unit G, Dryden, ON P8N 1B3

In accordance with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.

    I was deeply saddened to hear Dale has passed. My sincere condolences to you.. From the days in the mill to his days in hospital he was always so kind and friendly to me… please take care of each other and cherish your memories.

    It continues to be difficult to overcome the passing of my brother-in-law Dale, he is greatly missed. I always enjoyed talking with and visiting him, he was such a kind and welcoming person. Strength to his family.
