The family of Cynthia Louise Anderson is deeply saddened to announce her passing on the evening of Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at the age of 31 years old. She was surrounded by so much love and had close family by her side as she passed away at 9:45 p.m. at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Cynthia was born on a sunny afternoon on July 9th, 1992 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to her loving parents Dorothy Lynn and Dale Anderson Sr. She was, and will always be remembered as, the sweetest girl, the brightest light, the most beautiful soul, a pure angel, and an absolute miracle girl. She is best described by the words written by her father who wrote: “Those eyes have always been so beautiful. Every time you tell her, “Oh, Cyndi you have pretty eyes,” she would flash her lids to show off those beautiful eyes.”
Cynthia loved to laugh. She was always a joy to be around and would put a smile on everyone’s face. Her charisma and innocence would rub off on everyone she was around, making the people around her feel warm and relaxed. One of her favourite things to do was watch her favourite show The Price is Right everyday, as she would burst into excitement when she heard the words, “Come on down!” Her other favourite things to do were to eat delicious food and snacks, go on car rides, especially to Dyment to visit her grandparents, shake her favourite rattles and toys, sleep in, and have afternoon naps. She loved being around other people and would always be the life of the party, especially at birthday parties where she would make everyone smile and laugh. Her laugh, her voice, and her kindness have touched the hearts of many people over the years. And, despite her tender and gentle soul, she was also the strongest and toughest person anyone could ever meet. Her family will miss her dearly as she was the glue that held us all together, and a girl who taught us all so much.
Cynthia is predeceased by her father, Dale Anderson Sr., grandmother Kathleen Kitchkeesick-Wynn, grandfather Ken Anderson, uncle Willie Parenteau, and cousin Keesha Anderson.
Cynthia’s loved ones who will miss her dearly include her mother Dorothy Lynn, her sister Nicole (James), and her brother Dale Jr. She will also be missed by her nieces, Amber and Claire, and furry niece Zita; grandparents Robert and Louise Burnard, and Shirley Anderson; aunties Bonnie, Susan, Fran and Brenda; uncles Roland and Brad; cousins Ange and Sonny, Precious and Victoria, Bradley and Brandon, Rhiannon, Destiny, Kristina, and Jonah. As well as many other extended family including aunts and uncles, cousins, and family friends.
The family would like to thank all family, friends, teachers, nurses, doctors, and everyone who provided care and support for Cynthia over the years.
