Beverley Anne Upton April 22, 1938 - July 11, 2024

In loving memory of Beverley Anne Upton who passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2024 at D.R.H.C with family by her side. Mom was born on April 22nd, 1938 in Kenora, Ont.

She was predeceased by her partner Paul German, parents Mabel and Douglas McCannon, sisters Dianne, Joyce and brother Jim. Also, grandson Colin and great-grandson Jace. She is survived by her children Butch (Missy), Heather (Paul), Val (Rick) & Char (Sheldon). Siblings Shirley (John) and Bob (Lenore).

Her legacy is amazing and consists of 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, with two on the way. There were also many extended family members who were proud to call her grandma.

Mom worked at the Dryden Legion Branch # 63 for 25 plus years until her retirement in 2002. Mom played in many leagues including bowling, darts & horseshoes. She excelled at all of these and was a very competitive woman.

Mom was an avid knitter who crafted a baby blanket for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anytime she was asked to make something she never hesitated and excepted the task with a smile on her face. Family was very important to mom, and we will have her memory live on through each of us every day.

Mom was loved by many and will be missed by all.

We would like to thank the staff at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, especially the nurses and personal support workers for all their caring and compassion towards our mom.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Private Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
