It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Aaron A. Miniely at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on the 20th of February 2025. He is predeceased by his parents Geraldine (2009) and Marvin (2014) and his brother Murph (2018). He is survived by his sisters Carrie of Calgary, and Jennifer (Rusty) and his buddy Ripley of Sandy Hook, MB. His nieces Kristie (Jorden) and Bailey both of The Pas, MB. He is a great uncle to Madison (CJ) of Deloraine and Adriana of Mather, MB.
Aaron’s steadfast commitment to everyday life and all it had to offer provided him with copious amounts of friends and care workers over the years that he considered family and loved unequivocally, especially his room mate Lisa and caregiver Cassie. Their unwavering alliance and dedication was second to none and provided the help and guidance Aaron and others nurtured. His enjoyment reflected in his everyday travels. His music collection would rival any local radio station. He was often found camping, snowmobiling, fishing, concerts, and could often be seen at the Dog Pound supporting the Dryden Ice Dogs. His love for the Blue Jays baseball team showed in his type of baseball cap that he often would wear and his steadfast grip on his favourite beverage that was reflected in his cups filled with Tim Hortons coffee where he was often pictured having both. No one can forget his trademark smile, sunglasses, and peace sign gestures during picture times. He will be dearly missed.
A special thank you to Community Living for all of their support and dedication to him throughout his years. Aaron’s family would also like to thank the Dryden Community Funeral Home for their trust and dedication in assisting the family in this most trying of times.
A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
