In loving memory of Linda Irene Cockriell who passed away, on September 27, 2022, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre with family by her side.

Linda was born and raised in Michigan, then moved to Dryden from Minnesota in 1984 and was proud to gain her Canadian citizenship.

Linda made numerous friends over the years working at the PI and Walmart. She was very friendly and always had a smile and a warm greeting for everyone she met. She loved fishing, animals and gardening.

Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years Ward, children Jodi (Steve), Troy (Kerry), Laurie, Kerry (Oksana), sister-in-law Cyrena Wright, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.

Special thanks to Dr. Wilson-Smith and Dr. Cook and the nursing staff and especially Kerri and Olivia for your care and compassion.

A celebration of Linda's life will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Centre on Casimire Avenue across from the high school.

    I was just informed of your wife’s recent passing by my nephew, Billy Findlay. Karen and I send our prayers and condolences. May she rest in peace.
    I’m sorry I missed the opportunity to connect with you in Dryden when I visited Judy and Billy for several days this past July.. Perhaps we’ll see you again on a future trip.
