Frank Andrew Polischuk
December 12, 1955 – February 4, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their brother, Frank Polischuk on Monday, February 4, 2019 with his family by his side.
Frank was born in Kenora, Ontario to Michael and Kathleen Polischuk.
Frank moved with his Mom and other siblings to Eton Rugby in 1960.
Frank attended Oxdrift Public School until his family moved to Dryden in 1967 where he attended Albert Street School and Dryden High.
Frank started work with the City of Dryden, Parks Department in September 1975 and after 40 years he retired on December 31, 2015.
He loved his job and enjoyed the people that he worked with and formed strong friendships with many.
Frank loved to socialize with friends over a few beers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his long- time friend Laurie Ming whom he missed greatly when Laurie passed.
He always had time for family and enjoyed family gatherings from time to time. His favourite saying was “All right, catch you later”
Frank is survived by his five sisters Jean Hazlewood, Helen Romas (Jim), Linda Smith, Mary Besyk (Brian) and Lorraine Earle (Gary) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his two brothers, Wayne and Ernie and his parents Michael and Kathleen.
