Bruno Mol
June 8, 1931 – January 17, 2018
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bruno Mol. On January 17, 2018 he passed away at the age of 86 in his room at Princess Court with his family by his side.
Bruno was born in Poland, and moved to Canada to Montreal as a teenager. He moved to Thunder Bay where he started his logging career, working at the many bush camps in the area. This is where he met the love of his life, Barb Feller. They later moved to Dryden, and then Minnitaki where they raised their three boys, Bruno, Berry and Brannon. Bruno worked in the bush for more than 50 years before retiring. He loved being in the bush and there are many stories to be told. The boys remember being woken up many an early morning to join their dad for the day of cutting.
Bruno wasn’t just a hardworking logger. He loved to have a good time. He spent many summers fishing and camping with his family and many friends. On the weekends he and Barb would join their friends at one of the many dances in the area.
Bruno is predeceased by his parents, wife Barb and son Berry.
He is survived by his sons Bruno(Roxanne), Brannon (Karen). His grandchildren Jenna(Julius), Ben(Leanne), Brit and Greg, as well as his great grandchildren Kaydence and Lil’ B.J.
Our family would like to give a special Thankyou to the staff at Princess Court for all of their hard work and dedication looking after Bruno these last few years.
