Jeanette was born in Dryden, Ontario, and lived in Dryden her entire life with her final years spent in Timber Land Estates with her many friends. Jeanette passed away at the Dryden Hospital on December 18th, 2024 at the age of 88 with family at her side.
Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Allan Raslask, her daughter Carol Dunlop, sons-in-law Jack Dunlop and Bruce Sherwin. She was also predeceased by sisters: Betty Melmoth, Margorie Sherwood, Evelyn Shepherd, and Lillian Laking. And her brothers: David and Gordon Lyle.
Jeanette will be missed by her many loved ones including her children: Wendy Sherwin, Gary Williams (Kelly). Her stepchildren: Russ (Anne) Raslask and Diane Dunkeld (Bob). Her grandchildren: Jennifer Alderson (Steve), Scott Sherwin (Bonnie), Michael Sherwin, Sherri Dunlop, Shaun Dunlop (Rebecca), Katrie Williams (Luc), Kelsey Williams (Leon). Her step grandchildren: Carley Bebans (Ryan), Lauren Raslask (Janosh), Allan Dunkeld and numerous great grandchildren.
Everyone who enjoyed Jeanette’s company grew to love her and her time spent with family and friends was very special to her. Jeanette was a long-time member of the Dryden United Church Women. Jeanette loved to cook and bake for the people she loved. Special thanks to Dr. Cook and the staff of the Dryden Hospital.
