It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth William McDougall on December 11, 2024, just two days shy of his 81st birthday. Ken was born on December 13, 1943, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Wilfred and Ann McDougall.
Ken had a lifelong love for the outdoors and spent countless happy days camping and fishing. His appreciation for nature and his kind-hearted spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Ken resided in Ignace, Ontario, where he built a life filled with love and cherished memories. He passed away of natural causes, surrounded by his loved ones.
Ken is survived by his devoted spouse of 47 years, Heather, who was his partner in life and adventure. He leaves behind his daughter, Caroline (Rheal), his stepdaughter Tammy, and his three grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Codie, and Andy. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
Ken’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of love, warmth, and a life well-lived will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Ken will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
