Sadly, we announce the passing of Cindy Ann Johnston on May 1, 2023 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Cindy was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on September 24, 1957, the first child of Dean and Adelle Cosgrove. She grew up and attended school in Dryden, Ontario. Cindy enjoyed her work for many years at Canadian Tire and later at Central Hotel. She also had a great passion for GLAA mixed curling, fishing, boat rides and being out at camp.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband Lloyd, son Tyson and family, stepdaughters Sherry and Kelly, grandchildren Christian, Michael, Marcus and Brandon. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Kevin (Val) Cosgrove, sisters Sherry (Yvon) Lampman, Jackie Marquis and Leslie Spear as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Dean and Adelle as well as her brother-in-law Yvon.
The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Dr. Cook, Dr. Anthess as well as all nurses and staff at the Dryden Regional Health Centre and Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for all the care and compassion that has been provided to the family.
