Kayla graduated from Humber College, Toronto, ON in 2015 and received her Funeral Directors License in 2016. Kayla grew up in Red Lake, ON and graduated from the Red Lake District High School. She had moved back to Dryden from Calgary in 2012 after 13 years as a Licensed Hairstylist in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta and decided it was time to follow a lifelong dream of being a Funeral Director. Her passion to help people has been a driving force to pursue this new career.
In 2017, Kayla became a member of the Dryden Palliative Care Committee. Belonging to this committee allows her to see from all sides how the families we serve are cared for prior to and during bereavement and allows her to provide feedback and get ideas to help our families through this difficult time.
