Thelma Derosier January 28, 1947 - May 4, 2021

In loving memory of Thelma Jean Derosier who passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.

Thelma is survived by her children; Patrick Derosier (Kelly Sutton), Kelly Derosier, Cami Lands (Tony Kelly), and Donna Kinsella, grandchildren; Leandra Ducas, Alex and Taylor Derosier, Johsua Lands, Jayd White, Gage Pitchenese, Ethan Napish, and Sara and Mati-lee Kinsella, great-grandchildren;  Toni, Aria, Jaime, McKingley Lands, Waaqoshens White, and Caroline Dawn Robb, and sisters; Judy Korobanik (Tracy), Adele Finch, and Louise Morin (Roger Jacques), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Thelma is predeceased by her siblings; Daniel Derosier, Raymond Derosier, Marylin Derosier, Francis (Auntie Hubley), Margaret Lozej, and Isabel (Auntie Tootsie), nephews; Dani Derosier and Riel Derosier, and grandchildren; Tony Lands and Sabrina Kinsella.

Thelma grew up in Dryden and Wabigoon. She enjoyed blueberry picking, camping, puzzles and bingo. The last year Thelma had to stay at the hospital due to her illness. Because of who she was, the nurses adored her.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. until time of service at the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Community Hall.

A Traditional Service will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Community Hall with an Elder officiating.

Interment will follow in the Town of Wabigoon Cemetery.
