Rosie Brown November 18, 1950 - April 12, 2020

In loving memory of Rosie Brown who passed away on April 12, 2020 at the age of 69.

Rosie is survived by her husband Albert Kirkrude of 30 plus years together, daughters; Ruby Eisen (Frank Keesickquayash), Dorothy Eisen (Paul Lacourse), Laura Gaus and Marian Stump (Robert), step-son Delaney Bruyere (Marina Coates), step-daughter Deanna moose, grandchildren; Jaron and Jayden Eisen, Damian Coates, whom she raised this past year, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters and brother-in-laws all in Ontario and the States.

Rosie had many hobbies. She participated in traditional healing and ceremonies, loved going to play bingo and thrift store shopping. She enjoyed powwows, camping and travelling to Vermilion Bay, Wabigoon, Big Grassy, Kenora, Emo and Fort Frances.

Visitation will take place at the following times at the Dryden Community Funeral Home:

Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Friday, April 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

A Traditional Service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with a Native Elder officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Cemetery.

Please observe social distancing and a limit of 10 people at any time in the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery.
