Roland Levesque January 15, 1943 - June 20, 2021

Roland was born in Rimouski, Quebec on January 15, 1943.

As a young boy he was sent to Manitoba to attend school. In his teenage years he obtained his license to drive truck and spent the next 55 years doing what he loved. Roland was an active member of The Operating Engineers and Teamsters Unions and spent the majority of his career working for them on the pipeline all across Canada. He made many lifelong friends on the road.

Roland retired in 1998, but continued to work at home until 2013. In his retirement he loved to sit in his reclining chair and watch the trucks go by, and spend time with his grandchildren. In 2019, Roland became a resident at Princess Court where he passed away peacefully on June 20, 2021.

Roland was an avid hockey fan, animal lover and the life of the party. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Roland is survived by his wife Betty, sons” Real Levesque (Loretta) and Roland Holinaty (Cheryl, daughter Shawna Levesque-Fadden, grandchildren; Tyler Rowat (Janessa), Nicholas Dunning, Khrystine Holinaty, Xander Ling and Issac Ling, sisters; Madeline Getson (Vic), Claudette Desaultels (Gerry), Jessie Gilbert (Claude) and Monique Townson, sisters-in-law; Gail Wise (Glen), Ann Langlais (Danial), Dolly Pitchenese (Harry) and Jane Peterson (Mike), brothers-in-law; Mark Pollard (Shelley), Gene Pollard (Claudette), Gordon Pollard (Diane) and Phillip Pollard (Barb) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Roland was predeceased by his parents Dominique and Leona Levesque, father-in-law Jiggs Pollard, mother-in-law Della Pollard, sons; Murray Holinaty and Guy Levesque and son-in-law Neil Fadden.

A Private Service and Interment will take place at a later date.
