Lee Brisson February 17, 1963 - September 30, 2021

Our beloved Lee Adelard Joseph Brisson died on Sept. 30, 2021 at age 58.

He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Carolyn, of Dryden, Ontario, children, Samantha (partner Tyler) and Brandon (partner Amanda) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, grandchildren Ava-Lee and Ella (children of Samantha and Tyler), parents Art (wife Ella) and Phyllis, and sister Simone (husband Joel) of New Jersey.

He is preceded by his Grandparents and much loved dog, Baron.

Lee was born in Dryden, Ontario and lived briefly in Winnipeg before returning and settling down in Dryden.  He loved the outdoors and took every opportunity to spend time fishing, hiking with his dog or just sitting by the lake contemplating.  He was a skilled truck driver and took pride in his ability to carefully maneuver large vehicles into tight spots.

My brother was the kind of guy who saved all the pottery I ever made for him, could back a boat trailer down a narrow driveway before he got his driver’s license and could climb a tree with the agility of a squirrel when he was a kid.

He was a complicated man with a gentle soul.

We will all miss him immensely.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A Private Family gathering has been held in his honour.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Our condolences to the family during this time. Lee was always spoiling our dogs whenever he could. We were lucky to have him as a neighbour across the road.

my condolences to you all….My memories of Lee were more from my younger years, as he was my brother Marvin’s inseparable side kick. Lee spent a lot of time at our house when I was young. Now they’re side kicks again and perhaps inseparable again. I am very sorry for your loss.
