Joey was born in the Dryden District General Hospital to Peter and Eileen Lewicki. Joe had five siblings; Bev Leech, George Stefanick, Larry Stefanick, Cathy Gela and Peter Leviski and many nieces and nephews.
Joey grew up in Barclay. He looked after his mother for many years until she moved into an old age home. They both spent many hours out in the yard watching the birds. He loved music and drawing. He lived in Dryden until he moved to Princess Court. His passing was unexpected due to an illness.
