Johann “John” Fehr May 20, 1948 - August 12, 2019

With very heavy hearts the family of John Martin Fehr announce his sudden passing on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the age of 71 years.

John is survived by his loving wife Shirley Fehr of 51 years, son Jerry Fehr (Jennifer), daughter Tammy Fehr (Brian), grandchildren Jessica Engels (Matt), Jasmine Fehr (Scott), Dylan Ivall, Alyssa Ivall and great-grandson Jake Fehr. John is also survived by his sibings Margaret Derkson (George), Mary Bodnaruk (Peter), Peter Fehr (Anna), Tena Bloudoff (Nick), Isaac Fehr (Sharon), Susan Martins (Henry) and Betty Herdman (Wayne), Mother-in-law Margaret McKenzie (Howard), sister-in-laws Sheila McKenzie (Mike) and Jeanne Thebeau as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous extended family members.

John was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Anna Fehr and siblings Anna Penner (Henry), Cornie Fehr (Ann), Jesse Derkson (Bill) and Helen Weibe.

John loved to fish, hunt, camp and spend time with his family and friends. He was a very kind and giving man. In his later years he enjoyed flipping through tv channels (muting the commercials as he disliked them so). He loved to read western novels and probably read them all twice or more.

John will be greatly missed and forever loved.

 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at a later date.
