Donald Verbonac

August 17, 1958 – January 5, 2018

In loving memory of Donald Siren Frank Verbonac, age 59, who passed away at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on January 5, 2018 with his family by his side.

Donald is survived by his; wife Wendy Zoccole, daughter Kim Meawasige (John Meawasige) and children: Matthew, Jaydon and Charlie, daughter Crystal Verbonac (Sean Gessie) and child Willow Gessie-Verbonac, son Michael Verbonac, sister Loretta Parenteau and children Teressa Parenteau, and Steven Parenteau (Cheryl Parenteau) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald is predeceased by his brother-in-law David Parenteau and niece Joanne Parenteau.

In his early years, Donald worked as a guide, on wood lots for the Wabigoon Metis, and as a flag man.

Usually you could find him in the garage working on vehicles. He was always on the lake with his friends and family and spent hours on the lakes and beaches. He loved fishing and spent time in the cabins either trapping or hunting with his good friends.

Donald loved all his grandchildren.  He has adopted many kids throughout the later years.  He always helped anybody who needed it but ended up getting too sore to go out and do things. He enjoyed company to come and visit, loved to listen to his music, watch T.V and having a drink.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. As per Donald’s wishes there will be no service. Interment will take place at a later date.
